Tectonic Design Language Comes to Life in Greenwich Village Duplex | Open House TV

Architect Paul Reber takes Open House viewers on an exclusive tour of a Greenwich Village duplex at 30 East 10th Street that incorporates straight lines and unique architectural features to enhance the contemporary ambience of the space. Embrace the unique, meticulous details of this project – including the most rewarding aspect: a steel staircase with wood treads and 30ft long sculptural handrail – and experience the tectonic language of form that comes to life through creative implementation of square shapes and linear dimensions, as well as color blocking, structural columns, floating planes, and cube lights that highlight the artwork featured throughout this beautiful apartment.

Join our incredible host Sara Gore as we visit FIVE luxurious locations across the country!

Next, we find ourselves in a regal, custom-built estate infamously known as “The Burbank Castle” (or even “The Harry Potter House”), and Scott Rosenthal leads us through all 5,300 square feet of it. Then, interior designer Alexander Doherty welcomes us to the Upper West Side to showcase one of his latest projects: an elegant-yet-comfortable home that is beautifully suited with a gallery, living room fit for entertaining, and formal dining area that’s sure to dazzle guests. We’ll then check out a Greenwich Village duplex that incorporates straight lines and unique architectural flourishes to enhance the contemporary ambience of the space, courtesy of talented architect Paul Reber. Finally, we finish this week’s episode with another trip to Los Angeles — this time around, with fashion blogger and creative director Madelynn Furlong, who accentuated the original details of her apartment with a mix of delightful vintage & contemporary touches that reflect her vibrant personality and bring her home to life.
