The Morris Jumel Mansion is a Historical Piece of Art | Open House TV

The Morris Jumel Mansion is one of the longest standing residences in New York City. Museum Operations Manager Meg Lynch walks us through this piece of art that was once home to historians such as Eliza Jumel, Aaron Burr, and George Washington. What once was a home to many is now a museum showcasing the original pieces of history such as bed that Eliza Jumel slept and died in. With the beautiful history surrounding its walls, Lin Manual Miranda even took his time in the home as he wrote the Broadway musical Hamilton.
