As a interior designer with an aesthetic that leans into modern minimalism, Robert Ventolo enjoys simplifying people’s lives by helping create homes that are as functional as they are meaningful. Case in point? A highly personalized apartment he designed at the El Dorado in New York City that overlooks Central Park and embraces his client’s interest in dance, art, and quiet spaces to soak up the beautiful views right outside. This bespoke Upper West Side apartment features a wave motif throughout the home to establish a sense of continuity, as well as an Art Deco theme that inspired elements such as the light fixture, rug, and crown moulding in the foyer, original artwork set against a green wall that adds visual interest, a mirror with end irons in the main living space that accentuates a classic fireplace that’s original to the building, and unique pops of color in every room to give each one its own identity.
